As the health care home for nearly 5,500 residents of North Hawai’i, Hāmākua-Kohala Health provides a comprehensive range of health, educational and preventive social services while treating the whole person in a quality, cost-efficient and caring environment. We not only offer primary medical care services, but also supportive services that include behavioral health services, patient and family education, family planning, women’s health services, support groups and translation services. We believe that each person deserves access to outstanding, state-of-the-art health care and highly skilled healthcare providers, and we are able to do this through generous federal, state, and county grants; donations from private donors; and the dedication of all our employees.
