OPATH PATH - PEOPLES ADVOCACY FOR TRAILS HAWAII Connecting People and Places TRAFFIC ADVISORY SUBJECT: 13TH Annual PATH Run for the Hops 5K & 10K Fun Runs On the morning of Saturday March 14th, 2020 PATH (People's Advocacy for Trails Hawaii), will be holding the 13th Annual Run for Hops 5K/10K Community Race as part of the Kona Brewer's Festival. Loloku Street and Ma'a Way will be closed from 7:15a to 9:15a, for the safety of the participants. No other roads will be closed, but from 7:30am to 2020 RUN FOR THE HOPS 19 Terrain Map 9:30am the following streets will have runners along the shoulders and sidewalks: Kamakaeha Ave Kuakini Highway, Makala Blvd. Luhia Street, Kaiwi Street, Alapa Street, Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway and Eho St. KONA PHPM COMMONS TARGET Lanikea 19 EHO Motorists are encouraged ONona Airport State ation Ar to temporarily avoid these roads and use alternate Kailua-Kona routes to arrive at their RED & GREEN ARROWS 10K COURSE destinations. Special Duty Officers will be controlling traffic and volunteer course guides wearing reflective vests will also be stationed along the areas that will be affected. Rest assured that the safety for our residents and the 700+ run/walk participants is our #1 concern! We appreciate your understanding and patience.
