PET CHRONICLES Sixteen trips around the tropical sun. Sixteen years ago, on July 6th, 2007, we purchased Keauhou Veterinary Clinic. We made it into the hospital that it is today. Every year since on this day we renew our commitment to serving our community and providing the highest quality and exceptional services for the dogs and cats trusted to our care. Our hospital has been here since 1962. It has a history with people still recounting Dr. McCoy's practice all those years ago in what is now our break room. This building has been a home, it's been a rural small animal clinic and now it is full service AAHA accredited hospital you see today. Over the years we have extended our services to include a full in-house lab, full pharmacy, surgery and dental suites, digital X-ray, ultrasound, digital dental X-ray and inspection for animals (dogs and cats) arriving to Hawaii and so much more. While the practice has changed over the years and the community has grown up around us one thing has remained.; the spirit of this place is the same. We are proud to be part of this community. We are proud to have this opportunity for Dr. Jacob Head to come back to Hawaii and serve this community that was born and raised in. We are beyond grateful for the love, trust and support we receive from this island community with clients traveling from Hilo to have services provided by Dr. Head. We know there are other veterinary professionals in our community, so it is with a grateful and humble heart we say thank you for always choosing us when it comes to caring for your furry family members.
